The CEI is our hub for cultivating entrepreneurial mindsets and translating ideas into ventures through experiential learning, mentoring, and research-driven enterprise development.
that connects engineering, management, and liberal arts
through Babson-vetted modules and project-based coursework
via hackathons, idea sprints, and industry challenges
through partnerships with Babson College, Atal Innovation Mission, and international accelerators

As a member of the Babson College Collaborative, Mahindra University’s Centre for Entrepreneurship and Innovation (CEI) brings globally recognised entrepreneurship thinking into the heart of the campus. This collaboration enables CEI and Mahindra e-Hub to embed Babson’s practice-led approach to entrepreneurship, equipping students, alumni and faculty with the mindset, skills and tools needed to build, test and scale ideas that address real-world challenges.
Entrepreneurship at CEI begins with culture. Through the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Cell (EIC), students from across schools collaborate, experiment, and lead. Hackathons, ideation challenges, and platforms like Entrepx, Babson Student Challenge 2024 and the UN Sustainable Development Goals, to create a campus environment where entrepreneurship is seen as both a career path and a way of thinking.
CEI nurtures entrepreneurial capability through a structured, practice-led curriculum reviewed by Babson College faculty. Courses focus on critical thinking, resilience, and opportunity recognition, helping students build the mindset and skills required to initiate and sustain ventures.
Ideas move to action through the AIC Mahindra e-Hub Foundation, an Atal Incubation Centre supported by NITI Aayog. CEI provides mentoring, infrastructure, and go-to-market guidance, enabling early-stage ventures to take shape in a real-world ecosystem.
As ventures grow, CEI supports their transition to scale. The Accelerator Programme connects founders with advanced mentoring, investor networks, and market access, helping start-ups mature into sustainable and globally relevant enterprises.
Empowering students to think, create, and lead.
Established in 2018, the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Cell (E-Cell) is Mahindra University’s student-led platform for building entrepreneurial culture on campus. It brings students together through hackathons, ideation challenges, and the annual Entrepx summit.
With a community of over 250 members, the E-Cell connects students to national and global innovation ecosystems, including the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) and the Babson Collaborative.

Established by Mahindra University and backed by the Atal Innovation Mission (NITI Aayog), the AIC Mahindra e-Hub Foundation provides a stage-wise, end-to-end incubation framework to help early-stage ventures scale.

Nurturing innovation at the idea stage. Guiding aspiring entrepreneurs through Eureka Evenings and pre-incubation bootcamps to validate concepts and build prototypes.

Transforming ideas into ventures. Providing 18-month incubation with mentoring, infrastructure, and access to Mahindra University’s advanced labs and resources.

Fueling growth and market readiness. Helping start-ups refine strategy, connect with investors, and achieve product-market fit through structured accelerator programmes.

Expanding impact beyond incubation. Supporting alumni ventures with continued mentorship, networking, and partnerships for sustainable national and global growth.
Our faculty combines academic depth with real-world expertise, guiding students through both fundamental theory and applied innovation.
