Academic structure
The Ph.D. is structured around independent research and mentorship with faculty supervisors. Coursework, where required, will support the development of research methods and theoretical foundations for inquiry. Candidates refine their scholarly expertise while contributing original work to the field.
Eligibility:
- A Master’s degree in Engineering, Technology, Science, Humanities or Social Sciences with a minimum CGPA of 6.00 on a 10-point scale (or 60% marks); OR
- A B.Tech or equivalent with at least CGPA 7.00 on a 10-point scale (or 70% marks) with a valid GATE score or national fellowship such as UGC/CSIR/DBT/INSPIRE.
- The requirement for GATE/National examination may be waived for graduates from Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (with appropriate CGPA), as outlined in the official admission notification.
